ACI - 40th Anniversary Campaign
We are a team of highly proficient, empathetic, and outcome-oriented therapists committed to delivering outstanding care and implementing successful psychosocial interventions for individuals affected by drug, alcohol, and gambling addictions. Our services also extend to the family members and loved ones of those facing challenges related to addiction.
Helping Transform Lives
A modern approach
Ensuring personalised care is paramount to us. We strive to match individuals with the team member who best meets their needs. Instead of following conventional approaches, we have crafted a service that revolves around people's requirements, available when and where they need it.
Our Services
Online or in-person, this initial session evaluates your physical and mental health and discussing the Cycle of Change and Recovery Plan in detail. These sessions help identify if it is the right time for structured Talking Therapies or other Recovery pathways.
Single Session Therapy
Online or in-person, this structured service is designated for individuals to process and explore their thoughts, struggles and emotions. Typically, meetings are weekly or bi-weekly.
Talking Therapies
CRAFT Family Training
Community Reinforcement and Family Training (CRAFT) is an evidence based therapeutic approach for concerned families and close friends of people with substance use problems. This approach is positive and motivational in its focus, and strategically helps families and friends to work smarter, not harder, with their loved ones who are suffering from substance related problems
Recovery Coaching
If you feel you are not ready for a counselling service or not sure what the counselling process entails we can put you in touch with a Recovery Coach who can help you navigate whats available within ACI or outside in our communities. Our Heilan Harbour CAVE provides a space for people to explore their creative skills, hold informal peer led sessions, family support groups, mindfullness and open to whatever members of ACI would like to try.
